# Server-to-server integration

> Parameter reference and example requests for sending data to Pixalate Analytics through the server-to-server ingest endpoint.

If you can't run a Pixalate tag in the browser or app, your servers can send each event to Pixalate's ingest endpoint instead. Each request describes one impression, click or conversion as query string parameters: the visitor's user agent and IP address, the page or app, and your IDs.

## Before you start

* **Endpoint.** Your Customer Success representative gives you the ingest URL during integration. Send each event as a `GET` request to it.
* **IDs.** Pixalate gives you your client ID (`__aaci`) and partner ID (`paid`).
* **Samples.** Ask your Customer Success representative for sample impression, click and conversion trackers for your setup.

> **Note**
>
> Parameter keys for server-to-server can differ from the keys in the Pixalate tag. Use the keys on this page, and confirm them with your Customer Success representative.

## Send an impression

Set `INGEST_URL` to the ingest URL Pixalate gave you, ending in `/ingest`.

```bash
curl -G "$INGEST_URL" \
  --data-urlencode "__aaci=YOUR_CLIENT_ID" \
  --data-urlencode "paid=YOUR_PARTNER_ID" \
  --data-urlencode "__aaba=Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/120.0.0.0 Safari/537.36" \
  --data-urlencode "__aaxi=198.51.100.23" \
  --data-urlencode "__aapu=https://www.example.com/2015/03/18/photos/" \
  --data-urlencode "__aasi=11688292681380980" \
  --data-urlencode "__aast=1426775058223" \
  --data-urlencode "__aavi=26821458186066696" \
  --data-urlencode "__aavt=1426407629708" \
  --data-urlencode "publisherId=45094030" \
  --data-urlencode "kv26=iOS"
```

To send a click instead, add `__aaic=1`. For a conversion, add `__aaic=2`.
