Malformed CTV bundle IDs

A weekly list of malformed and unidentified CTV bundle IDs to reject pre-bid.

The malformed and unidentified CTV bundle ID feed lists connected TV (CTV) bundle IDs that are malformed or that Pixalate can’t map to a known app. These bundle IDs carry a high risk of app spoofing and lack transparency, so you can reject them before the bid.

Unmapped bundle IDs cause problems for targeting and post-bid reporting, and they can indicate fraud or spoofing. That affects buyers and every seller in the supply chain.

Apply it pre-bid

You apply the feed in your own systems, so you choose the scope: all of your CTV traffic, or only some of it. Common uses:

  • Confirm the bundle ID before you buy. Check that the inventory you’re buying really runs on the bundle ID you intend, before the impression.
  • Block by platform. Block specific bundle IDs on a given platform, and apply different rules to different supply paths or traffic partners.
  • Review delivered campaigns. Check post-bid data for impressions that ran on unidentified bundle IDs, then troubleshoot with your partner or request clawbacks.
