Allowlisting policy

How to ask Pixalate to allowlist IP addresses, domains or apps, including SSAI server IPs.

While working with Pixalate, you may need IP addresses, domains or apps to be allowlisted, for testing or for another business process. Pixalate has two workflows:

  • SSAI server IP addresses go through a structured review by Pixalate’s data scientists.
  • Everything else starts with your Pixalate account manager, who brings in a data scientist or analyst to approve the request.

SSAI server IPs

Use this workflow to allowlist the IP addresses of your server-side ad insertion (SSAI) servers.

1

Request allowlisting

Email support@pixalate.com and say that you want to allowlist SSAI server IP addresses. Pixalate will ask you a set of questions so its staff can evaluate the request.

2

Send your IP addresses

Provide a spreadsheet of the SSAI server IP addresses.

3

Pixalate reviews the request

Pixalate’s data scientists review the IP addresses. If the request is approved, Pixalate’s measurement and verification algorithms treat these IP addresses as known SSAI servers, and impression measurement and verification are conducted accordingly.

4

Get the decision

Your Pixalate account manager tells you whether the request was approved or denied, with context on the decision.

For the SSAI metrics Pixalate reports, see MRC-accredited metrics.

Other allowlisting requests

For all other allowlisting requests, such as other IP addresses, domains or apps, contact your Pixalate account manager to start the process. If you don’t know who your account manager is, email support@pixalate.com.
